HUMAN LIFE:
In the First season, Caroline was a very selfish, neurotic character who was a little bit snobby too. She was always self conscious, and didnt believe in herself that she could do anything right.
Nobody really was fond of her, even her two best friends were a little skeptical of her rude attitude. But the bottom line is that Caroline did have a caring soul in her, she did care, she did have a heart, and all this was brought out into the light when she was turned.
VAMPIRE LIFE:
When Caroline was murdered and turned into a vampire, she had absolutely NO control over her body and most of all, her emotions.
Caroline soon found a friend in human blood, and also became obsessed, not being able NOT to wreak havoc.
But when good ol' Stefan came around, he wasnt going to let another repeat of the "Vicki" incident happen, so he quickly got her a day walking ring, and became her mentor.
Caroline learned how to control her emotions, and how to control her thirst for blood with the help of Stefan. She now is more like-able because we see a more strong, more fast, more confident , and caring person then we did in the first season.
What can i say, THANK GOD SHE TURNED!
